Towards Port Stanley

The second phase of the attack was undertaken by 2 Para on Wireless Ridge and the Scots Guards on Mount Tumbledown on the night if the 13 June.

After 2 Para and the Scots Guards successfully taking their objectives, the land force was able to push onto Port Stanley.

On the 14 June, the Argentines surrendered and the land forces had the task of taking some 10 000 Argentinian troops as prisoners of war.
